Adelaide replaces Gombau with Guillermo Amor
Amor has been technical director at the club and will now switch to be coach.
Gombau led Adelaide to the FFA Cup triumph last season becoming the first team to win the trophy. Adelaide beat Perth Glory in the final.
Gombau is leaving for New York.

Leicester settles for Ranieri
Ranieri was last in the English Premier League in 2004 when he was sacked to pave way for Jose Mourinho.

Chile wins 2015 Copa America
The final had finished goalless on full time and so the match proceeded to a penalty shoot out.
