Hughes takes over at Stoke
Hughes replaces Tony Pulis who was sacked at the end of the season after seven years in charge.
Hughes has been manager at Blackburn, Manchester City, Fulham and QPR.

2013/14 A-League fixtures released
For the first time the league season will extend into May with the grand final being played in the first weekend of May.
The fixture list also shows that the first match will be between Sydney FC and the Newcastle Jets.
The first round will also the Melbourne derby and the grand final replay between the Western Sydney Wanderers and the Central Coast Mariners.

City sacks Mancini
Mancini whose team lost the FA Cup final over the weekend to Wigan has got his team in second place on the table needing only a draw to secure that second placing.
Mancini won the Premier League title last season but was far from defending its title this season with Manchester United winning it with four matches to go.
The sacking means that four of the top six teams in the EPL this season will be starting with new managers next season.

Moyes to replace Ferguson at United
Ferguson is set to retire at the end of the current after 26 years at the club.
Moyes has been at Goodison Park for the past eleven years where he managed to keep the team in the Premier League on a tight budget and even got the team into the Champions League.

His club annouced that after 26 years in charge of the Premier League champions, Sir Alex will now become a director and an ambassador for the club.

Champions League final rehearsal
Dortmund reached the final by dispatching Real Madrid whilst Bayern reached Wembley by humiliating Barcelona.
With the Bundesliga title already won and with Dortmund 20 points behind the visitors this match may not have much significance.
