Inter dumps Bayern out
Champions League defending champions Inter Milan overcame a 1-nil first leg deficit to dump last season's runners up Bayern Munich out of the competition on goal difference.
Inter scored first to make the tie one-all but before the break the home team were in front leading 2-1.

In the other quarter-final match, Manchester United beat Marseille 2-1 to reach the last eight.
A goal in each half was enough for the Old Trafford outfit to move to the next stage and an own goal ensured that the visitors registered on the score sheet.
