Goals galore as Germany crushes Socceroos
Germany became the first in the 2010 FIFA World Cup to score more than two goals after beating Australia 4-nil in their Group D fixture.
Before this match only South Korea had scored two goals but the Germans scored two goals in each half to shoot to the top of Group D.
Australia's Tim Cahill also became the first player to receive a straight red card in this year's tournament when he got his marching orders in the second half.
In the other Group D match, Ghana beat Serbia 1-nil through near the end of the match.
In a Group C fixture Slovenia beat Algeria 1-nil to top the group that also includes England and USA.
This is the halfway mark of the first group matches and there have been very few goals with 13 goals scored so far.
Germany yet again look good, but it's early days, I still back Argentina to win.
Yes, Germany had a good game against Australia but the challenge I think is to repeat that against the better teams in the tournament. They looked though.
