Sydney crowned premiers
Sydney FC won the minor premiership after beating Melbourne Victory 2-nil at the Sydney Football Stadium to finish top of the A-League table.
Sydney went into the match needing to win to leap their opponents and the home side was 1 up by half-time.
Sydney has now scored five goals against the defending champions with the defending champions failing to score a single goal.
In third place was Gold Coast who lost 2-1 to the North Queensland Fury. Gold Coast needed to win and Sydney to lose to get second place.
The Fury needed to win in order to avoid the wooden spoon in their first season.
Fourth place went to the Wellington Phoenix who beat the Central Coast Mariners 3-nil in what was Lawrie McKinna's last match as coach of the Mariners.
Perth Glory who have reached their maiden finals this season finished fifth when they beat Brisbane Roar 2-nil. The Roar finished second from the bottom to finish last of the three Queensland sides.
Adelaide's win over Newcastle Jets was not enough to avoid the wooden spoon. Once again like last season the side finishing bottom is going into the Asian Champions League.
So here is the final table:
