Low scoring start for Champions League
The 2011/12 UEFA Champions League started with a low scoring first round with no team scoring more than two goals.
The first round featured eight draws of which two were goalless.
The 2-all draw between defending champions Barcelona and AC Milan saw the highest number of goals scored in a match in the round whilst league high scoring teams like Real Madrid and Manchester could only manage one strike.
