South Africa passes first test
South Africa passed the first test after making sure as hosts they did not losing their first match in the opening match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
They could indeed have won the match in the second half but a draw seemed liked a fair result after Mexico dominated all the early exchanges.
The second test will be to come out of the group and on their second half showing they may as well come out of the group.
There wasn't much to write about in the second Group A fixture between France and Uruguay which ended goalless apart from the first red card of the tournament issued to Uruguay's Lodeiro.
So its two draws and two goals so far and lets what the next set of matches will bring.
