Wolves push Spurs aside
Relegation threatened Wolverhampton Wanderers pushed Tottenham Hotspurs aside for the second time this season after winning 1-nil at Molyneaux in round 26 of the English Premiership.
Wolves won by a similar scoreline earlier in the season and once again they defeated their more fancied rivals who are fighting for the Champions League places.
Arsenal are now back on track for the title after beating Liverpool 1-nil and seeing Manchester United draw at Villa Park and Chelsea lose at Goodison.
After losing their last two matches, the Gunners win extended the gap with their rivals to 8 points and from here should finish third or better.
In other results, West Ham eased their relegation worries by beating Birmingham City with goals in each half at Upton Park. The result saw the Hammers leave the relegation zone.
Dropping into the relegation zone this time are Hull and Burnley who both lost their fixtures to Blackburn and Fulham respectively.
