Phoenix gets first win
The Wellington got its win of the season after beating Perth Glory 2-1 at the Westpac Stadium.
The result left Glory without a win and no points and they are joined in that category by the North Queensland Fury who lost 5-nil to fellow debutants Gold Coast United.
The Gold Coast's huge win means that the new team stays at the top of the ladder with six points, the same points with Sydney FC who had a narrow win over Adelaide.
Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar got their first points in a high scoring 3-all draw at Etihad Stadium.
The first draw of the season came from the match between Central Coast Mariners and Newcastle Jets. Their result means that the top four teams on the ladder remain unbeaten.
In round Glory will play its first home match against the Jets whilst Victory plays its first away match against the Fury.
