Rehhagel leaves Greek post
Otto Rehhagel has resigned as Greece coach after his team failed to progress beyond the group stages at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Greece lost its first match against South Korea 2-nil but managed to beat ten men Nigeria 2-1 in the second match. The goals against Nigeria were Greece's first at a World Cup.
In the final match Greece lost 2-nil to Argentina and exited the tournament with three points.
Rehhagel won Euro 2004 with his Greek team but then failed to get to Germany 2006 World Cup.
